      • Supporting idea: 
        • When employees consistently work long hours without adequate rest and recovery time, their performance and engagement levels can decline. 
        • This can result in higher absenteeism rates as employees may need time off to recover from exhaustion or stress-related illnesses.
      • Example: 
        • A study by the International Labour Organization found that employees who work long hours are more likely to be absent from work.
