Most countries want to improve the standard of living through economic development, however, others think the social value is lost as a result. Do you think the advantages of economic development outweigh the disadvantages?

    • Body 1: advantages of economic development > disadvantages  
      • Main idea 1:  It reduces poverty and improves the quality of life.

      • Example 1: Between 1978 and 2015, China's rapid economic growth lifted approximately 800 million people out of extreme poverty, representing the largest poverty reduction in history. This boom generated millions of new jobs in manufacturing, construction, and service sectors, allowing many families to achieve higher incomes and improve their standards of living.
    • Body 2:

      • Supporting idea 1: Through education, people gain a variety of knowledge in many fields, and learn how to use it for a better world.

  • Cách 2: Cách viết partly lưu ý viết  (advantages = disadvantages)

        • Example: In societies with increasing living standards, the drive for a materialistic lifestyle is fueled by social comparison, as individuals gauge success and status through possessions and experiences, often leading to an insatiable pursuit of more, irrespective of genuine needs or financial constraints.
      • Main idea 2: Higher economic growth is directly proportional to long hours of hard work.

        • Example: For instance, the children of African-Americans in New York city are under the influence of criminal activities since their parents are too much occupied in their work.
