The flowchart below shows the process involved in writing formal academic essay for particular university course.

Describe the stages of the process in a reporter a university lecturer.

You should write at least 150 words

  • Stage 1:

    • The student may get a reading list of useful books, articles and other resources during this meeting. 
  • Stage 2:

  • Stage 3

    • The third stage is to organise the content of the essay and to write the first draft.

    • First checking for writing style and formal language usage is needed

  • Stage 4

    • The aims in either case are to analyse the first draft and to get ideas and feedback.

  • Stage 5:

    • Stage five involves preparing and writing a second draft, including re-reading source materials and suggestions from the fourth stage.

  • Stage 6

    • The final draft checking should be completed /done before student submitted the final draft
