Satellites provide accurate weather forecasts and early warnings for natural disasters, potentially saving thousands of lives annually. Furthermore, space exploration has led to discoveries that expand our knowledge of planetary systems, celestial bodies, and the fundamental laws of physics. For instance, understanding planets, comets, and stars can offer solutions to future challenges like overpopulation, by exploring the possibility of colonizing other planets. Additionally, innovations like space-based solar power present promising solutions to Earth’s energy crises, being more efficient than traditional solar cells.

In conclusion, while the high costs of space exploration cannot be ignored, the technological advancements and profound knowledge gained justify the investment. Therefore, I believe that space programs should continue, as their long-term benefits far exceed the immediate financial expenditures.
