  • Dạng discuss both views có thể bố cục bài như sau:
    • Body 1: Viết về quan điểm Some people believe that children that commit crimes should be punished.
      • Main idea 1: Despite the fact that some parents nurture their kids with care and attention, some kids get involved in crimes, due to bad mental health.
        • Supporting idea:
          • Some children might be dealing with undiagnosed or untreated mental health disorders, such as depression, anxiety, or conduct disorders, which can contribute to impulsive or risky behavior.
          • Poor mental health can sometimes lead to self-medication through substance abuse, which in turn can fuel criminal activities driven by addiction or impaired judgment.
        • Example: A study by the National Institute of Mental Health found that around 1 in 5 children aged 13 to 18 had a mental health problem in the past year. Of those, almost 43% had a serious issue that made it hard for them to do regular things. This shows that mental health and behavior are connected, and untreated mental health problems could affect whether adolescents get involved in criminal actions.

      • Main idea 2: Due to financial and social obligations, many parents do not have much time to keep an eye on kids all time. >> IELTS TUTOR hướng dẫn Cách dùng danh từ "obligation" tiếng anh
        • Supporting idea:
          • Parents often need to work long hours to provide for their families, leaving them with limited time for direct supervision of their children.
          • Social engagements, community involvement, and family obligations can occupy parents' time, impacting their ability to constantly watch over their kids.
        • Example: In Singapore, a study by the National University of Singapore found that parents who were more involved in social activities and community organizations were more likely to have children who engaged in risky behaviors, such as substance abuse and delinquency.
      • IELTS TUTOR gợi ý ideas khác:
        • Main idea: Just because loving parents can raise their child well does not mean social problems cannot manifest from a young age.
        • Supporting idea: This is often the case if the child suffers from a mental illness such as schizophrenia or a dissociative disorder. >> IELTS TUTOR Giài thích suffer from (something)
    • Body 2: Viết về quan điểm Others think the parents should be punished instead & nêu rõ mình ủng hộ quan điểm này
      • Main idea 1: most young children who commit crimes have been abused in some way by their parents.
        • Supporting idea: Children who experience abuse at home might learn that violence is a way to solve problems, leading to a higher likelihood of engaging in criminal behavior.
        • Example: There are also no known examples of serial killers coming from happy homes; they are all the product of varying degrees of abuse from their parents.
      • Main idea 2: For young children, parents are chiefly responsible
        • Supporting idea:
          • Since children have not fully developed their mental faculties, that behaviours performed by them must be copied from their parents.
          • Parents that teach their kids anti social behaviour therefore shoulder some of the blame for their child misbehaving >> IELTS TUTOR gợi ý Paraphrase từ "parents" tiếng anh
        • Example: In the United States, a study by the University of California, Los Angeles found that children who were exposed to anti-social behavior from their parents were more likely to engage in anti-social behavior themselves.
