The graphs below show the viewership of different TV programs among three different age groups

The three pie charts illustrate the proportions of viewers who preferred five categories of television programmes among three age groups, namely 10–15, 16–20, and 21–25-year-olds.

Overall, viewing preferences underwent a marked shift (sự thay đổi đáng kể – a significant change) as people grew older. While cartoons and sports were particularly popular among younger viewers, news programmes gained substantial popularity among adults. Drama consistently remained a well-received genre (thể loại được đón nhận rộng rãi – a category enjoyed by many people) across all age brackets.

Among 10–15-year-olds, cartoons and sports were the most watched programmes, accounting for 26% each. Drama was also fairly prominent (khá nổi bật – relatively important or noticeable) at 23%, whereas news attracted only 6% of the audience. In the 16–20 age group, drama became the leading category at 30%, followed by films at 23%. Meanwhile, the figures for cartoons and sports declined noticeably (giảm đáng kể – decreased to a visible extent) to 15% and 14% respectively.

A different pattern emerged among 21–25-year-olds. News became the dominant viewing choice (lựa chọn xem chủ đạo – the most preferred option), representing one-third of all preferences at 33%. By contrast, sports experienced a dramatic downturn (sự sụt giảm mạnh – a sharp decrease) to just 4%, making it the least popular programme type.
