          • This is because they need to find different ways to satisfy their desire for shopping, meaning that they have to work harder and have more stress.

        • Example: Many teens are being burdened with thousands of dollars in credit card debt for their unnecessary purchases, which could lead to depression and anxiety.

        • Supporting idea: 
          • Due to excessive production of disposable goods, huge amounts of hazardous waste are being discharged into the environment, which directly contaminates soil and water.
          • The amount of rubbish in the world has been increasing markedly in recent years, leading to the pollution of rivers, oceans and the soil as can be seen in many parts of the world.
        • Example:
