        • Many pop stars become exhausted and burnout early in their career or turn to drugs and alcohol in order to cope with the stress
        • Sportspersons who are competing in high-level tournaments need to be in so superior a state if they intend to be financially successful, and these preparations require them to be in their juvenile period.

IELTS TUTOR gợi ý bài tham khảo:

It is often argued that highly-educated professionals (người có trình độ học vấn cao – people with advanced education) such as doctors and teachers should earn more than celebrities in sports and entertainment. However, I totally disagree with this idea because income is often based on economic impact rather than societal contribution.

First of all, a person’s earnings are typically tied to the revenue they can generate. Sports and entertainment industries are heavily profit-driven ecosystems (hệ sinh thái lợi nhuận cao – systems primarily focused on financial gain) that revolve around the fame and appeal of certain individuals. For example, in the music world, while numerous musicians contribute behind the scenes, megastars like Beyoncé or Taylor Swift command lucrative contracts (hợp đồng sinh lời – highly profitable agreements) because their massive fan base guarantees ticket sales, merchandise, and streaming income. Their magnetic public image (hình ảnh công chúng thu hút – strong appeal in public perception) becomes the key to success in a celebrity-centric economy (nền kinh tế xoay quanh người nổi tiếng – an economy where famous people influence profit generation), justifying their high income.>> Form đăng kí giải đề thi thật IELTS 4 kĩ năng kèm bài giải bộ đề 100 đề PART 2 IELTS SPEAKING quý đang thi (update hàng tuần) từ IELTS TUTOR

Secondly, celebrity careers, though glamorous, are often precarious and physically demanding. Athletes, for instance, must endure rigorous training regimens (chế độ tập luyện nghiêm ngặt – strict fitness programs) from a young age, with careers that often end prematurely due to injuries or reduced physical performance. Similarly, singers and actors frequently face mental fatigue and burnout (kiệt sức tinh thần – extreme emotional and mental exhaustion) due to tight schedules and relentless public scrutiny. Despite these challenges, they continue to deliver content that resonates globally, thus remaining financially valuable. Their fleeting fame (danh tiếng ngắn ngủi – short-lived popularity) compels them to capitalize quickly on public attention before being replaced by newcomers in an ever-evolving industry.

In conclusion, although professionals contribute immensely to society, the market-driven nature of showbiz and sports explains why entertainers often command higher salaries.
