IELTS TUTOR gợi ý bài tham khảo:
It is often argued that women should have the same opportunities as men in the police and military, while others believe that these professions are unsuitable for females. Although there are valid concerns regarding the physical demands of such occupations, I strongly believe that women should be allowed to participate equally in these fields because they can contribute significantly to operational success and social equality.
On the one hand, opponents claim that women are less suitable for military and police work due to biological and physical differences. These occupations are often highly physically-demanding (đòi hỏi thể lực cao - requiring great physical strength and endurance) and may involve dangerous combat situations, emergency rescues, or violent confrontations. Critics argue that men generally possess greater physical strength, stamina, and combat readiness, which are considered essential in life-threatening (đe dọa tính mạng - extremely dangerous) circumstances. Furthermore, traditional social attitudes still shape public perceptions about gender-specific roles. Many people hold the belief that women are overly emotional or physically fragile, making them less capable of handling high-pressure environments. For example, a female police officer may experience workplace discrimination (phân biệt đối xử nơi làm việc - unfair treatment at work), skepticism from male colleagues, or even sexual harassment simply because law enforcement has historically been a male-dominated profession.>> 🔥 Form đăng kí giải đề thi thật IELTS 4 kĩ năng kèm bài giải bộ đề 100 đề PART 2 IELTS SPEAKING quý đang thi (update hàng tuần) từ IELTS TUTOR
On the other hand, I firmly support the view that women should play an equal role in the police and armed forces. Firstly, gender equality should apply to all professions, including national defense and public security. Allowing women to serve in these sectors helps dismantle outdated stereotypes and creates a more inclusive workforce (lực lượng lao động hòa nhập - a workforce welcoming all groups). Secondly, female officers often bring valuable communication skills, emotional intelligence, and alternative perspectives that can improve decision-making in complex situations. In many cases, women are particularly effective in conflict resolution, negotiation, and dealing with vulnerable groups such as children or victims of abuse. Moreover, numerous studies have shown that gender-diverse (đa dạng giới tính - including both men and women) organizations are more innovative and productive because employees contribute a wider range of viewpoints and problem-solving approaches.
In conclusion, while some people believe that women are unsuited to police or military careers because of physical limitations and social expectations, I believe they should have equal opportunities since their contributions can enhance both efficiency and equality within these professions.
