      • Example: 
        • Consider the country of Singapore, which has a limited amount of land available for agricultural purposes due to its small size and dense urban population.
        • In 2019, Singapore imported approximately 90% of its food, including fruits, vegetables, meat, and seafood, from countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Australia.

    • Main idea:  By importing food from other countries, a country can diversify its food supply and maintain good relations with other nations.
