    • Main idea 1: Not knowing one's neighbors can contribute to feelings of isolation and loneliness.

        • The study also found that people who live in neighborhoods with low levels of social cohesion (i.e., where neighbors don't know or trust each other) have a higher risk of developing mental health problems such as depression and anxiety.
    • Main idea 2: Not knowing neighbors can be a safety issue. In times of emergencies or crises, having a network of familiar faces nearby can be crucial. 
      • Supporting idea: Without these connections, individuals may feel less secure. 
      • Example: 
        • Living in a high-crime area, not knowing neighbors can make one more vulnerable to criminal targeting, while strong neighborly relationships enable mutual vigilance and prompt reporting of suspicious activity to the police.

        • In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina's 2005 devastation along the Gulf Coast, those with strong neighborly bonds had better access to crucial resources and support, including evacuation assistance, food and water sharing, and home cleanup efforts.

          
          

  • Body 2: Trả lời câu hỏi 2 What can be done about this?
    • Main idea 1: People could plan a ceremony to celebrate these special events together.
      • Supporting idea:
        • It brings neighbors together, helping to build a stronger sense of community and camaraderie.
        • Such gatherings provide opportunities to strengthen social connections, which can be particularly important in urban areas where neighbors may not know each other well.

    • Main idea 2: Families who have children could let them play with each other and strike a friendship instead of allowing children to sit in front of their computers all day long.
      • Supporting idea: In this way, the child’s parents meet and get to know others’ parents as well.
      • Example:
