    • Main idea 2: Parents should not underestimate the significance of their guidance for children.
      • Supporting idea: 
        • If they notice any signs of an anti-social or insolent manner in children, they must provide them with negative evaluations of these signs. 
        • At the same time, parents could also educate their children about social manners by instilling a pro-social sense in them. 
        • Parents should block some websites from their computers which can corrupt their behaviour.
      • Example: In China, the government blocks access to websites that it deems to be harmful, such as websites that contain pornography, violence, or gambling.

One effective measure is multigenerational living (n: the practice of several generations living together – nhiều thế hệ sống chung), which enables children to learn moral virtues (n: good moral qualities – phẩm hạnh đạo đức) through grandparents’ stories and life experiences. For example, in Japan, grandparents often teach cultural values and ethics through traditional tales. Furthermore, parents should not underestimate the significance of their guidance. They must promptly correct any signs of anti-social behaviour and instil (v: to gradually teach an idea or attitude – truyền dạy) a sense of respect and empathy in their children. Limiting children’s access to corrupting online content (n: harmful material that negatively influences behaviour – nội dung trực tuyến độc hại) is also necessary to maintain positive moral development.

In conclusion, the rise in anti-social behaviour stems from environmental influences and parental neglect, both of which can be effectively mitigated through family education and close supervision.

2. “Without proper guidance to distinguish right from wrong, youngsters may gradually develop ill-mannered habits.”
   → Cấu trúc “Without + N, S + may + V” chỉ điều kiện giả định tiêu cực (nếu không có…).
