Cách mô tả map IELTS WRITING: từ bao quát đến chi tiết, từ ngoài vào trong, từ phải qua trái, thống nhất các map

IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:

• Nên nằm lòng bản đồ theo 4 hướng Đông - Tây - Nam - Bắc, có thể nhớ theo kí tự đầu là “Never Eat Soggy Waffles” (trong đó N sẽ đặt ở đầu rồi theo chiều kim đồng hồ) xem thêm video hướng dẫn kĩ nhé 
• Nhưng nếu đã lỡ không quen thuộc với compass (la bàn) & vào thi không nắm cách dùng để mô tả thì hãy mô tả theo tay phải tay trái, trên dưới để chắc chắn 100% đúng nhé

• Khi mô tả nên thống nhất 1 hướng cho cả 2 biểu đồ
• Sử dụng hướng dễ nhất là theo:

  • It is clear that Frenton underwent a dramatic transformation over the period, becoming noticeably less green and more built up

  • Mô tả từ bao quát đến chi tiết:
    • Bao quát:

    • Chi tiết (mô tả theo ngoài vào trong, phải sang trái)
      • Phải của High Street:
        • Some shops & a theatre were there towards the South-east of the street 
        • Towards the East of the street, there were settlements (Houses) & a café and a park 
      • Trái của High Street:
        • The four major establishments to the West of the street were a library, a hospital, a school and a bank
        • There was a playing field with trees at the North of the town, adjacent to the street.
• Body 2: map 2
  • Mô tả từ bao quát đến chi tiết (từ ngoài vào trong, từ phải sang trái )
    • Phải 
      • Houses were developed to flats, which expanded towards the North.
      • The Café and park got transformed to a hotel and a golf course.

      • Trees at the South were cleared for a technopark.
      • A restaurant occupied the space of the bank. 
      • the hospital increased its size.
      • The only places that remained the same in Frenton over the period were the school and the library.

  • It is clear that this town experienced a significant transformation regarding residential, commercial and industrial developments throughout the period given
  • The area south of the river experienced greater changes.
• Body 1: viết map 1: 
  • Map chia đều ra thành 2 phần khá đồng đều (In 1999, Eastminister was a small town, which was bisected into almost equal parts by the river)
  • Phía dưới sông:
    • There were streets of houses, public garden, shops, school and hospitals along the railway line 
  • Phía trên sông:

• Body 2: viết map 2
  • Phía dưới sông:
    • The construction of factories and warehouses along the railway line 
    • To the east, the streets of houses were demolished to make way for blocks of flats.

    • The expansion of the hospital west of the old-school situated on the river.
  • Phía trên sông: 
    • More houses were also built encroaching on the park in the northeast. 
    • The large house with gardens had been replaced with a hotel and a golf course
    • The woodland in the northwest was turned into an adventure park. 

The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.

• Về chia thì: Đối với bài map có 1 năm hiện tại 1 năm tương lai, sẽ chia body 1 (viết về năm hiện tại) thì hiện tại, body 2 (viết về năm tương lai) thì tương lai
• Overall: The sports centre is expected to be fully indoor, with the addition of a great number of interior amenities and the disappearance of the two outdoor courts.
• Body 1: Map 1  
  • Bao quát:
    • The present-day university sports centre is largely outdoor with two big courts occupying two thirds of the area to the west and east.
    • This centre has a large building in the middle
  • Chi tiết: 
    • Từ ngoài vào trong 
      • Inside the building, there is a reception facing the main entrance, a 25-metre swimming pool behind the reception and a gym at the back  >> IELTS  TUTOR  hướng  dẫn  Cách dùng giới từ tiếng Anh (Prepositions)
    • Từ phải qua trái: 
      • People can access the seating area by the door on the right of the reception desk while the door on the left leads to the changing room.
• Body 2: Map 2 
  • Bao quát: 
    • The two outdoor courts will be merged with the main building. 
      • On the original site of the eastern outdoor courts, a big sports hall and two studios for dancing will be built
      • A large leisure pool will be constructed on the site of the other outdoor courts. 
  • Chi tiết:
    • Từ ngoài vào trong 
      • Ngoài:
        • The proposed plan also indicates that the number of changing rooms will increase from one to three, two dance studios and a sports hall will be added, and the existing gym will be expanded eastwards.
        • The area in the vicinity of the entrance is also expected to undergo changes, with the addition of a sports shop to the left-hand side and a café to the right-hand side of the reception.
      • Trong:
        • The seating area, however, will remain unchanged.
