Despite the usefulness of digital media, I believe that first-hand travel remains crucial because it offers experiences that screens cannot replicate. For example, only by travelling abroad can people truly savour (thưởng thức một cách trọn vẹn) a country’s authentic cuisine, from freshly made street food to traditional home-cooked dishes. Moreover, travelling provides immersive (đắm chìm hoàn toàn) cultural engagement that virtual platforms fail to capture. While TV and online videos may show how other communities celebrate national festivals, being physically present allows travellers to participate alongside the locals, creating unfiltered (nguyên bản, không qua chỉnh sửa) and emotionally memorable experiences.

Although TV and the Internet provide convenient cultural exposure, travelling abroad is still essential for gaining genuine and meaningful insights into foreign countries.
