IELTS TUTOR gợi ý bài tham khảo:

Today, an increasing number of individuals aspire to enter university, resulting in a rise in competition for tertiary places. This trend is driven by several important factors, though it also gives rise to certain drawbacks.

One primary reason why more people pursue university education is that it provides a more comprehensive (toàn diện / complete & detailed) knowledge base and equips students with highly specialized (chuyên môn / focused & technical) skills. Such training helps learners develop strong analytical (phân tích / logical & systematic) abilities, enabling them to perform effectively in diverse professional settings. For example, my friend Sarah, a software engineer with a computer science degree from a renowned institution, possesses deep theoretical understanding and advanced programming skills that significantly strengthen her career prospects. Additionally, many professions—including medicine, law, and engineering—require formal qualifications that are obtainable only through universities. Consequently, graduates from these fields gain access to highly lucrative (béo bở / financially rewarding) career pathways, which further motivates people to seek higher education.>> Form đăng kí giải đề thi thật IELTS 4 kĩ năng kèm bài giải bộ đề 100 đề PART 2 IELTS SPEAKING quý đang thi (update hàng tuần) từ IELTS TUTOR

However, despite these advantages, this development has notable negative aspects. First, a noticeable skills mismatch (không tương xứng / lack of alignment) between graduates’ abilities and market needs often occurs. This gap may lead to unemployment or underemployment as individuals struggle to find roles that align with their academic backgrounds. A recent literature graduate, for instance, only succeeded in obtaining stable employment after retraining in technical writing and digital marketing. Furthermore, a growing number of degree holders intensifies job competition, particularly in fields where supply far outstrips (vượt quá / exceeds significantly) demand. This imbalance can worsen job insecurity and hinder many graduates from securing appropriate employment.

In conclusion, although the surge in university attendance is driven by the pursuit of knowledge and professional growth, it also brings challenges related to job alignment and heightened employment competition.
